Natural Resource Management GroupsThere are five Natural Resource Management (NRM) regions within the south-west of Western Australia. The regions have regional bodies established to develop and implement regional strategies/plans and to deliver the regional component of the Natural Heritage Trust. These groups include:
Although to varying degrees, Phytophthora dieback has been identified as a key threatening process to biodiversity within all these regions. As a consequence the regional groups have identified a number of management action targets for the control of Phytophthora dieback. All five groups are also members of the Project Dieback. |
