Dieback Consultative CouncilThe Dieback Consultative Council was formed by the then Minister for The Environment Mrs Cheryl Edwards MLA in late 1997 in response to recommendations Western Australian Dieback Review Panel. Council membership encompasses a broad range of Phytophthora dieback management and research expertise as well as key industry and other interest groups concerned with the management Phytophthora dieback. The primary function of the Council is to provide high quality advice to the Minister in relation to the development of policy; identifying research priorities and funding; and the raising of public awareness of Phytophthora dieback in Western Australia. |
