Manuals and Guidelines
A number of good manuals and guidelines exist for the management of Phytophthora dieback. In Western Australia the majority of these have been developed by the Department of Environment & Conservation and the Dieback Working Group.
The Department of Environment & Conservation (DEC)
The Department of Environment & Conservation have been instrumental in the development of the management of Phytophthora dieback in Western Australia. The three publications below cover best practice management, detailed management guidelines and information on the appropriate use of phosphite.
Dieback Working Group (DWG)
The Dieback Working Group are a federally funded environment group that aim to raise the awareness of Phytophthora dieback management in Western Australia. The first three publications below cover the management of the disease by private property owners, bushland managers, community conservation groups, extractive industry and local government. The fourth publication is an example of a Dieback Management Plan for a local government reserve.
